Jose Mourinho has suggested that he wants Chelsea to offer captain John Terry a new contract.
The 33-year-old, who made his Blues debut in 1998, last season signed a one-year extension which is due to expire next summer.
Again, though, Mourinho seems keen to keep hold of a defender who has started every game of Chelsea's 13-match unbeaten Premier League run this campaign.
"It's not time to speak about it, but he knows what I think," Mourinho told reporters. "I don't need to talk about it with you."
Chelsea's policy of not offering long-term contracts to players over the age of 30 saw title-winning duo Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole leave at the end of last term.
