Jose Mourinho: 'Fernando Torres is in my plans'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reveals that he wants to keep Fernando Torres at the club next season amid interest from Inter Milan in the Spaniard.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that striker Fernando Torres is in his plans for next season despite speculation linking the Spaniard away from the club.

Inter Milan have admitted that they are interested in the 29-year-old, but the Portuguese has revealed that he wants to keep Torres at the club for the 2014-15 season.

He told BBC Sport: "Yes he's in my plans [for next season]. He's a good player. He's not the kind of guy who will score goal after goal but the way he works and moves he contributes to the team. He's a player I like."

Torres found the net on the final day of the season in Chelsea's 2-1 win over Cardiff City.
