Arsenal have made contact with Greek giants Olympiacos to discuss a double deal for fledgling duo Charalampos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis, according to a report.

Mikel Arteta's men gambled on a quiet January transfer window, a risk that backfired no fewer than two weeks later as Kai Havertz sustained a season-ending hamstring injury.

Nevertheless, the Gunners are still just about in contention for the Premier League crown, sitting seven points behind Liverpool in the table after Saturday's 2-0 win over Leicester City.

Having not spent a single penny over the winter, Arsenal are seemingly gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, where a new striker and new holding midfielder will be sought as a matter of priority.

Leeds United have reportedly identified a Serie A defender as a potential summer transfer target.

Daniel Farke's side are currently well on track to earn a return to the Premier League having lost just three of their 32 Championship fixtures during 2024-25.

The Yorkshire giants currently hold a four-point advantage in the race for automatic promotion, helped by a 4-0 victory at Watford last time out.

Although club officials will not want to get presumptuous when it comes to earning a place in the top flight, they also need to start considering the necessary work for new arrivals.

However, according to Fichajes, there is also genuine interest from Real Madrid, with Los Blancos keen to secure his signature at the end of the campaign in order for him to be a part of the first-team squad for next term.

After struggling in the first half of the campaign, Man City used the winter transfer window as an opportunity to start the rebuild of Pep Guardiola's squad.

They bolstered their defence with the additions of Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis, while also recruiting midfielder Nico Gonzalez and forward Omar Marmoush before the transfer market closed at the start of February.

The Citizens are expected to continue their rebuild in the summer market, especially as they made to replace the experience and quality of De Bruyne.

Marcus Rashford is reportedly still hopeful of completing a 'dream switch' to Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.

The English forward joined Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United in the latter stages of the January market, and he has featured twice for Unai Emery's side since his arrival, coming off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur and Ipswich Town.

Villa have the chance to sign the 27-year-old on a permanent basis during this summer's transfer window for a fee in the region of £40m, and it is thought to be unlikely that he will play for Man United again.

Rashford had been holding out for a move to Barcelona during the winter window, but the Catalan outfit were ultimately unable to make a deal work from a financial point of view, and Villa quickly emerged as the favourites to sign him.
