Crawley Town skipper Sonny Bradley has targeted an instant response against Yeovil Town after last weekend's thrashing.
The Red Devils remain in the lower reaches of the League Two table on the back of their 4-0 defeat at Mansfield Town.
Rather than feeling sorry for themselves, Bradley has now urged his teammates to quickly find their feet in order to "bounce back" at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
"I think we have to bounce back straight away," he is quoted as saying by Crawley News. "After performances like Mansfield, you can easily slip under and start feeling sorry for yourself and then go out in the next game and get beaten again by 3-0 or 4-0. We aren't going to do that.
"In the first five games we have shown we are more than capable of keeping a clean sheet, so we have to get back to those ways. I think we have a better squad than Yeovil but we need to work on our game management.
"We need to stop losing the ball in silly areas and shut up shop to ensure we don't concede at bad times, like just before half time. If we can do that we have a good chance of beating them."
Crawley follow up their meeting with Yeovil by taking on Notts County, Accrington Stanley and Newport County before the month is out.
