Bournemouth fail with Glenn Murray bid?

Crystal Palace are understood to have rejected a £3m bid from Bournemouth for striker Glenn Murray.

Bournemouth have reportedly failed with a £3m bid for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray.

The 31-year-old, whose current deal at Selhurst Park is due to expire in summer 2017, scored seven goals in 17 games for Palace last season after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Reading.

Despite seeing their initial offer for Murray knocked back, Bournemouth are expected to make another bid for the experienced forward, according to The Guardian.

Murray joined Palace from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2011 on a free transfer.
