Derby County boss Paul Clement has said that he will be able to rely on Carlo Ancelotti for advice this season ahead of his side's clash against Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.
Clement was Ancelotti's assistant at Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid and believes that his relationship with the Italian will serve him well as he begins his own career in management.
"I've spoken to him after all the pre-season games and it was interesting because when I was alongside him he was receiving calls after every game from Arrigo Sacchi," Clement told BBC Sport.
"I can't see that my relationship will be too different to that, where he is calling me and asking me 'why did you do that?' and 'why did you do this?' and 'what is your team for the weekend?'
"I will be leaning on him for advice, particularly during difficult times."
Clement, who took over at Pride Park from Steve McClaren in June, has also previously worked as a coach at Fulham and Blackburn Rovers.
