Burnley boss Sean Dyche has revealed that Lee Grant has agreed to join fellow Championship outfit Derby County on a three-year contract.
The 30-year-old, whose Burnley deal was due to expire at the end of the season, rejected the chance to remain at Turf Moor in favour of a move to Pride Park.
"Lee was signed at a significant cost to the club and was one of our biggest earners," Dyche told the club's official website.
"We were keen to retain his services and made an offer to do so, but the lure of moving back to Derby, where his family are based, ultimately proved too good to turn down and we are sorry to lose him."
Grant left Derby for Sheffield Wednesday in 2007.
