Marouane Fellaini's goal has put Everton through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after a 2-1 win over Fulham at Goodison Park.
After a tentative opening, the visitors took the lead in the 15th minute when Danny Murphy converted from the penalty spot following Johnny Heitinga's handball.
Shane Duffy could have drawn the Toffees level, but his header from Magaye Gueye's cross was off target.
Tim Cahill was denied soon after when his header was pushed away by David Stockdale, before Duffy's drive was cleared off the line.
Everton did find an equaliser before the break when Denis Stracqualursi nodded in Landon Donovan's cross.
In a drab second half, Stracualursi had another chance smothered by Stockdale before Fellaini's header from Donovan's cross on 73 minutes had enough on it to beat Stockdale and give Everton the lead.
Despite having four strikers on the pitch by the end of the match, Fulham failed to create any meaningful chances as the David Moyes's side held out for the win.
