Steven Pienaar, Leon Osman return from injury tonight

Steven Pienaar and Leon Osman return from injury tonight for the Under-21s.

Everton have been boosted by the return of Steven Pienaar and Leon Osman from injury in the Under-21s tonight.

Both players played 70 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Manchester United, in what was their first action since they both suffered injuries in December.

Osman split a tendon in his foot in the defeat to Manchester City, while Pienaar has had his season disrupted by muscle tears.

The pair could make their first-team return against Leicester City on Sunday.
