Scottish champions Celtic are in the running to sign Everton midfielder Tom Davies, according to a report.
The 20-year-old had not featured for the Toffees since the 2-1 win over Leicester City on October 6 prior to his late cameo against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
Marco Silva insisted prior to the loss at the Etihad Stadium that Davies remains a key part of his future plans, ruling out the prospect of a January loan.
However, the Daily Mail suggests that Celtic's director of football Lee Congerton is keen to take the Everton academy product north of the border.
West Ham United are also rumoured to have enquired about the youngster's availability due to his lack of playing time in recent months.
Davies has been used nine times by Silva overall this term and was captain for Everton's defeat to Arsenal in September.
