Everton 'eye Wigan Athletic teenager Callum Lang'

Everton are interested in signing Wigan Athletic teenager Callum Lang, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Wigan Athletic teenager Callum Lang.

The 19-year-old, who spent time at Liverpool as a youth, has only made three first-team appearances for Wigan.

According to ESPN, the forward caught the eye of Everton scouts during a loan spell at League Two side Morecambe this season, where he scored 10 times in 30 appearances.

The report claims that Wigan are desperate to keep Lang, but are aware of the widespread interest in the teenager following his impressive form on loan.

Lang is yet to score a senior goal for Wigan, who will play Championship football next season after winning League One.
