Everton goalkeeper Jonas Lossl is reportedly in line for a surprise return to former club Huddersfield Town in the final few hours of the transfer window.
The 30-year-old moved to Goodison Park on a free transfer in July after two seasons with the Terriers in the top flight, but he has failed to challenge Jordan Pickford for the number one spot and is yet to make his debut.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Denmark international is now expected to return to Huddersfield on a loan deal running for the rest of the season.
Huddersfield boss Danny Cowley is desperately in need of a new keeper after losing Kamil Grabara to a head injury, while Lossl is keen to get regular game time again ahead of Euro 2020.
Following their relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, Town have spent most of this season flirting with another relegation but currently sit six points clear of the dropzone.
