Fulham manager Felix Magath has confirmed that he will not make a decision on whether to play striker Konstantinos Mitroglou against Cardiff City until he has undergone a late fitness test.
Magath said that Mitroglou and William Kvist both came back from international duty with small knocks, and the German has no intention of rushing Mitroglou, who has played 29 minutes for Fulham so far, into the starting lineup.
"You need a few weeks to adapt to your new league and the Premier League is the best league in the world," Magath told reporters. "If he's not fit now, he will be fit next week or the week after."
"You can't expect so much from a player who's new in the Premier League, you have to give him time."
Mitroglou made his debut against West Bromwich Albion, but was not included in the squad against Chelsea.
