Getafe beat Deportivo La Coruna as both teams see red

Getafe come back from 1-0 down to defeat Deportivo La Coruna 3-1 in La Liga.

Getafe have come back from a goal down to beat Deportivo La Coruna 3-1 after both sides saw a man sent off.

Getafe went down to 10 men early in the first half when Miguel Angel Moya brought down Riki and received his marching orders, Pizzi stepping up to bury the penalty.

Getafe were awarded a penalty of their own after 25 minutes and Diego Castro made no mistake to level the scores.

In the 72nd minute came the defining point of the match when Abel Aguilar was shown his second yellow card and sent off.

Less than 10 minutes later Getafe went ahead as Alvaro Vazquez found the bottom corner from outside the box.

Three minutes later the result was sealed as Adrian Colunga turned in the box to fire home for a 3-1 victory.
