Vladimir Romanov has admitted that he is considering selling Hearts amid the financial concerns currently enveloping the club.
The Lithuanian businessman first invested in the Edinburgh outfit back in 2004 but he has recently been frustrated at what he calls "an orchestrated campaign against him personally and, by association, the club."
Romanov has said that he had lost interest in football and he is now considering finding a partner or selling the club.
"I haven't lost my interest in the club but I have for football," read a statement on the club's official website.
Hearts players were only paid yesterday, more than a fortnight after their wages were scheduled to be distributed.
