Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins has admitted that he may approach Manchester United about loaning a couple of players from their squad.
Robins, who left Coventry City this week to join Championship side Huddersfield, has revealed that Ferguson always makes himself available if any young manager requires his advice.
He told reporters: "Sir Alex is great for young managers who are making their way in the game. He's always available to talk and will lend an ear if you need him to.
"I'm sure we'll speak soon and in any case, he has a few players we might want to take."
Robins played under Ferguson at Manchester United during his playing career.
