Hull City manager Steve Bruce blames his side's lack of finishing for their 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has blamed his side's lack of finishing for their 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night.

Colin Kazim-Richards struck with 15 minutes to play at Ewood Park to condemn the Tigers to their first loss of the season.

"Well I think we've deserved something from the game," Bruce told BBC Sport.

"The thing we've got to improve on is to score. When you come here and get your three, four chances you hope you can take one of those but unfortunately we haven't taken one and we've got punished near the death."

Hull have the chance to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they travel to Charlton Athletic.
