Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has backed misfiring Lukas Podolski to enjoy a purple patch shortly.
The Germany international joined the Nerazzurri on loan from Arsenal last month after falling out of favour in North London.
However, the 29-year-old forward is yet to open his account for the Italians in seven Serie A games and spurned three golden chances in Monday's 2-1 win over Cagliari.
"I believe the time will come when Podolski will score an important goal," the Inter boss told Sky Sport Italia.
"Of the three in the first half, he usually gets at least one in. He's unlucky at the moment, but it will pass."
Second-half goals from Mateo Kovacic and Mauro Icardi set up last night's victory, while a Juan Pablo Carrizo own goal gave the hosts a consolation on 74 minutes.
