Andrea Stramaccioni unhappy with Inter Milan defeat

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes that his side deserved at least a draw following their 3-1 defeat at home to Lazio in Serie A.

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has claimed that his side deserved at least a draw following their 3-1 defeat to Lazio in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri suffered their sixth home defeat of the season on Wednesday to leave them in eighth place in the table with two games to play.

"Commenting on an encounter like this is not easy, we lost 3-1 in a match that we deserved at least a draw," Stramaccioni told Sky Sport Italia.

"Even in our current condition, we tried to play the game and take the initiative right to the end. I saw an improvement in terms of performance."

Inter continue their campaign on Sunday with a trip to Genoa.
