Thiago Motta has completed his move from Inter Milan to Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of £8.4m.
Motta, 29, is thought to have signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the French club.
Inter boss Claudio Ranieri had previously said that the Brazilian-born Italy international would remain at the club, but PSG finally landed acquired him.
A statement on Inter's official website read: "FC Internazionale announce the transfer of Thiago Motta to PSG.
"We wish Thiago a prosperous career in France with PSG."
Motta had been at the San Siro since 2009, making 69 appearances for the club and scoring nine goals.
