Ipswich Town chief executive Simon Clegg reveals that he has drawn up a longlist of potential candidates to replace Paul Jewell as manager at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town chief executive Simon Clegg has revealed that the search for a new manager has started following the exit of Paul Jewell.

Jewell left the club on Wednesday by mutual consent following a difficult start to the Championship season and Clegg admits that there are plenty of candidates on their list of possible replacements.

"There's a fairly long list that's in the process of being shortened at the moment," Clegg told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"The key is getting the right person as quickly as possible. Conversations are now starting to be had."

Sports Mole has taken a look at some of the possible contenders to replace Jewell at Portman Road.
