Ipswich boss Paul Jewell says striker Tamas Priskin is free to leave the club but that he has no personal vendetta against the Hungarian.

Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has said that striker Tamas Priskin can leave the club but that he has no personal vendetta against him.

The Hungarian reportedly told a newspaper in his homeland that he believed he had fallen into Jewell's "bad books".

However, Jewell has insisted that this is not the case, telling BBC Radio Suffolk: "It's not disappointing, if he wants to leave, he can leave."

"All he needs now is somebody to come and take him."

"He's not in my bad books, I think what he means is he is not in the squad."

Priskin, 25, has yet to feature for the Tractor Boys this season.

Jewell's side host Coventry in their next Championship fixture on Monday night.
