Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy believes that both his team and their opponents Blackpool were worthy of three points after the sides played out a stalemate at Portman Road.
The hosts enjoyed early chances, but otherwise struggled to build pressure before ending with a point.
He told reporters: "I thought we started really well, had our best chances but didn't take them. I thought the game settled, the two substitutions disturbed the game a little bit.
"We haven't played well to win the game, but neither have they. I think we probably shaded it, but there wasn't a lot in it and conditions did make it difficult.
"It's the hardest thing in the game, putting the ball in the net, that's why they pay fortunes for strikers and give them fortunes."
Despite the draw, Ipswich closed to within two points of sixth-placed Reading in the Championship table.
