Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has dropped out of the Italy starting lineup for this evening's match against the Republic of Ireland.
The 21-year-old, who is believed to be suffering with a slight knee injury, has been replaced by Udinese frontman Antonio Di Natale.
Ireland have reverted back to their usual 4-4-2 formation, which means that Kevin Doyle has returned to partner Robbie Keane in attack.
