Cesare Prandelli has said that he is not considering his future as coach of the Italian national team.
The Azzurri are currently top of Group B with four wins from six games, but the former Fiorentina boss has come under fire for the negative tactics employed under his reign.
"As far as looking after my future is concerned, there is the utmost serenity," Prandelli told reporters.
"My thoughts are exclusively focused on qualifying for the World Cup, everything else will be done with the utmost transparency.
"I have absolutely not decided yet, we have maximum respect and concentration over what we have to do."
Italy face Bulgaria on Friday before travelling to the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
