Sabri Lamouchi: 'Ivory Coast must not get carried away'

Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi warns his team that they must not get carried away following their win over Japan at the World Cup.

Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi has warned his players that there is still plenty of work to do following their win over Japan at the World Cup.

The Elephants went behind early on in Recife before goals from Wilfried Bony and Gervinho saw them turn the match around.

Despite getting their campaign off to a winning start, Lamouchi insists that his side must not get carried away by the result.

"We didn't start the game very well by conceding through a lapse in concentration. After that, we got into a lot of good positions," he told FIFA.com.

"For us it was really important to start well this tournament. The players are very happy with the victory, but we are not yet qualified."

The Ivorians return to action on Thursday when they meet Colombia.
