Emre Can has admitted that he is 'amazed' to be in the same side as Cristiano Ronaldo following the arrival of both players at Juventus this summer.
The Germany international was snapped up by Juve on a free following the expiration of his Liverpool contract, while Ronaldo was signed in a £100m transfer earlier this month.
Having faced off against the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in last season's Champions League final, Can is grateful that he will now line up alongside one of the game's all-time great players.
"It is amazing to play with such a big player, maybe the best player in the world," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"You only have to see what he did in the last few years and how many goals he scored. It is nice we are going to be on the same team, although the other teams in Italy are not so happy about that."
Can has also revealed how Jurgen Klopp wished him luck at Juventus following his departure from Liverpool.
