Juventus have secured their second Serie A win in a row as Lazio were beaten 2-0 in Saturday's encounter at the Allianz Stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo made his home debut for the Bianconeri and played a part in setting up Mario Mandzukic for the game's second goal.
The Italian champions took a while to settle into the encounter, their opponents threatening with a dangerous pressing game.
However, Juve burst into action on 20 minutes as Sami Khedira cracked a shot off the woodwork before Federico Bernardeschi forced a save on the rebound.
Nine minutes later the hosts had opened the scoring through Miralem Pjanic, whose clean hit from 25 yards out nestled perfectly into the corner of the net.
Massimiliano Allegri's side took a one-goal lead into the second half but were under threat again as the Biancocelesti pressed forward and Luis Alberto sent an effort just wide on 58 minutes.
Midway through the second half, Ronaldo came within a whisker of opening his Juve account as he forced a smart save from Thomas Strakosha with a dipping shot from outside the box.
The Portuguese star then fluffed his lines in the six-yard area by clipping the ball with his heel but Mandzukic was on hand to apply the finishing touch and give Juve an insurmountable lead.
