Ricardo Pereira to leave Leicester City for Juventus?

Juventus are reportedly close to completing the signing of Leicester City defender Ricardo Pereira, who only moved to the King Power Stadium last summer.

Juventus are reportedly on the brink of winning the race to sign Leicester City Ricardo Pereira.

The right-back enjoyed an impressive first campaign at the King Power Stadium, contributing two goals and six assists from his 35 starts in the Premier League.

However, while Leicester ideally want to keep the Portuguese, the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are looking to tempt the Foxes into a sale, which would bring them a quick profit.

The Sun claims that it is the Italian giants who have emerged as the most likely destination for the 25-year-old, who would allegedly welcome a move to Turin.

A fee has not been mentioned, although Leicester will expect to receive well in excess of the £22m that they paid Porto last year.

Pereira could replace Joao Cancelo, with his compatriot continuing to be linked with a switch to Manchester City.
