Goalkeeper Alex Cairns has confirmed that he will leave Leeds United on a free transfer this summer.
The 22-year-old rose through the ranks at Elland Road, but he has never been able to nail down a regular place between the posts.
His contract is due to expire next month and the Doncaster-born stopper has confirmed that there will be no extension to those terms.
"My time @LUFC is finished from today. Would like to thank the club for giving me my first step in football, all the staff, players and fans that have helped me through my time at the club it's been a good one and I thank you all," he tweeted.
Cairns, who made one senior appearances for Leeds, joined the Whites back in 2011.
