Danny Pugh has joined Championship side Leeds United on a permanent basis from Stoke City.
The 29-year-old had been with United since September following a loan agreement between both clubs.
He has now committed his future to the Whites by signing a two-and-a-half-year deal at Elland Road.
"Danny is a versatile player and is a good addition to the squad," boss Simon Grayson told the club's official website.
"He can play in a few positions, he has already shown people what he is about, and it's good to have him on a permanent basis."
Pugh had a previous two-year spell with Leeds up until 2006.
