Nigel Pearson pleased with Leicester City win

Nigel Pearson believes that his side could have scored more following their 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson was pleased with the result after his side secured a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers this evening.

Goals from Lloyd Dyer and David Nugent ensured that the home side secured all three points, and Pearson thought his side could have scored more.

"The result was the most important thing. It could have been 4 or 5, but we needed to find a way to finish it. All in all we were worth the three points," he said, according to the club's official Twitter account.

Leicester have moved to the top of the Championship table following the victory.
