Report: Shinji Okazaki close to Leicester City move

Leicester City reportedly agree a fee with Bundesliga side Mainz 05 for striker Shinji Okazaki.

Shinji Okazaki has reportedly agreed to join Leicester City after the Foxes had a €10m (£7m) offer for the Mainz 05 striker accepted.

The Japan international, who scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for the Bundesliga side last season, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League club.

According to Bild, the completion of the forward's move is now a formality.

Okazaki's former club, Stuttgart, would receive 10% of the transfer fee.
