Serie A side Roma will return for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez in the January transfer window, according to a report.
The 26-year-old was keen on a move away from the King Power Stadium in the summer, handing in a transfer request in the hope of pushing through a big-money switch.
Leicester refused to budge on their hefty valuation of the Algeria international, though, with Roma seeing a number of bids knocked back.
Mahrez has shown signs of his best form this term, and Italian outlet Calciomercato suggests that he remains a target for Roma ahead of next month's window.
The Giallorossi may have to hand over as much as £45m for Mahrez, however, as Barcelona have also shown an interest in the 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year.
