Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has suggested that Mohamed Salah has not been training to a high level in an attempt to avoid injury.
Salah has featured on 47 occasions during an exhausting campaign with Liverpool, while a number of outings have been made for Egypt on the international stage.
The summer signing is also hoping to represent his nation at this summer's World Cup, and Moreno has indicated that precautions are being taken over the club's top goalscorer in training.
The 25-year-old told Spanish reporters: "Salah is an incredible guy, he is doing an extraordinary year.
"I think that Salah trains at 20% because he is afraid of getting injured. Salah now has Ramadan, I will eat and drink for him, something else I can not do."
On Wednesday night, Salah played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool secured a place in the Champions League final.
