Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Thursday, November 5.

The summer transfer window has now closed and attention will begin to turn to January for Premier League champions Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side brought in Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas during the summer, making for one of their busier transfer windows in the last couple of years.

Real Madrid, Barcelona to battle for Yunus Musah?

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both allegedly interested in signing Valencia youngster Yunus Musah.

The 17-year-old joined Los Che from Arsenal in the summer of 2019 and has made the step into the first team this term, already featuring on seven occasions in Spain's top flight.

A recent report claimed that Valencia have offered the England Under-18 international a new long-term contract at the Mestalla as his existing deal expires in June 2022.

However, according to reports in Spain, both Madrid and Barca have been impressed by the youngster's development and are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Musah, who has been compared to Barca teenager Ansu Fati, has largely operated as a right midfielder for Javi Gracia's side during the early stages of the season.

Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are also believed to be admirers of a player who was born in the United States to Ghanaian parents.



David Alaba's agent 'in talks with Real Madrid'

Real Madrid are reportedly in talks with David Alaba's agent over the possibility of signing the Bayern Munich to a pre-contract at the start of 2021.

The Austrian international's current deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs have been linked with his services over the last few months.

A recent report claimed that the defender's agent Pini Zahavi had contacted Madrid to determine whether the Spanish champions would be interested in his client.

According to AS, Los Blancos are now in negotiations with Zahavi and are hopeful of coming to an agreement with the 28-year-old over a move to the Bernabeu on a free transfer.

Alaba remains a key figure for Bayern despite the speculation surrounding his future, already making nine appearances for the treble winners during the 2020-21 campaign.

Liverpool and Juventus have also been linked with the versatile defender, but Barcelona are allegedly not in the race for his signature despite the recent speculation.
