Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has insisted that he can be more creative and add goals to his game.
The Wales international has been on the sidelines since August due to a hamstring injury, but could return to action against Newcastle United this weekend.
"I can get involved more in the creative side, in assisting goals," Allen told the club's official website. "That's a big thing.
"If I have the chance to play further forward, like I did in pre-season, goals are obviously another big one that I'd like to add a bit more to my game."
The Reds are currently second in the Premier League table, level on points with leaders Arsenal.
