Kenny Dalglish says that referees should explain their decisions in order to be more transparent.

Kenny Dalglish has urged referees to explain their decisions and admit when they have got it wrong.

The Scot believes that his Liverpool team has been on the end of some rough justice in recent weeks and said that the silence is a show of disrespect.

"In the last three games there have been blatant decisions against us which are inexcusable," The Sun quotes Dalglish as saying. "It would be helpful and more transparent if refs explained the decisions to us, or even held their hands up to say 'Sorry I got that wrong'.

"Then we could at least see they have the integrity, but they never say anything. We don't get everything right, do we, so it's understandable if they don't either. But a wee bit of respect towards us would help, otherwise people may think there's a conspiracy.

"That's something we cannot believe, it's something we can't let affect us because it would damage us."

Dalglish is currently in his second spell in charge at Anfield.
