Kenny Dalglish says that Liverpool are expecting a "difficult" tussle when they face Queens Park Rangers tonight.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has claimed that Queens Park Rangers' relegation battle will not be at the forefront of his mind when the Reds take on Mark Hughes's side this evening.

The West London side have ten fixtures left to ensure survival in the top flight, while their Merseyside opponents remain hopeful that they can reach fourth spot, despite residing ten points behind.

"We respect everyone we play against," said Dalglish. "Everyone has got something to play against in every game. It doesn't matter to us what position a team is in the league, we still have respect for everyone.

"But we have to get our house in order and if we do that we give ourselves a better chance. As long as we work hard and are honest and straightforward with each other it will help us.

"We expect a really difficult game. It doesn't matter who you are playing, form goes out of the window and it only matters what happens on the day."

QPR have taken just two points from their last six games in the Premier League.
