Jose Enrique: "I'm feeling great"

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique claims that he is "feeling great" after spending most of last season on the sidelines through injury.

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has revealed that he is "feeling great" after recovering from injury.

The 28-year-old Spaniard was forced to miss the majority of last season for the Reds due to a serious knee problem.

However, Enrique is now ready to work his way back into the starting lineup at Anfield following his return to training.

"I've been here since last week and I'm really happy. I've been waiting for this moment for so long. I'm feeling great," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"I'm really happy to try to be playing games again. I've been working in the summer and I've been [training[ for the last week. I've been working quite a lot in fitness terms."

Enrique made nine appearances for Liverpool last season before he was sidelined.
