Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard ready for "biggest month" of career

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says that the next month will be the 'biggest of his career' as his side aim to win their first league title since 1990.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has said that the next month will be the 'biggest of his career' as his side look to win the Premier League title.

The Reds sit two points clear of Chelsea at the summit following their dramatic 3-2 victory over Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool will bring their 24-year wait for the league title to an end if they win all four of their remaining matches.

"I'm enjoying it, it's great to play with so many top players. The journey I've had all the way through the years, there have been ups and downs. At the moment, I'm loving every minute of it," Gerrard told Liverpool's official website.

"I feel 21 again, playing with all these top players. It's probably going to be the biggest month of my career coming up now. I'll give it everything I've got.

"The message is to stay calm and keep going - there are still four cup finals left."

Liverpool's title bid resumes when they travel to Norwich City on Sunday.
