Jordan Henderson: 'Jurgen Klopp has taught us to fight until the end'

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson says that manager Jurgen Klopp has taught the team to keep fighting.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has claimed that manager Jurgen Klopp has taught the team to "keep going right until the end" following Sunday's late victory over Crystal Palace.

Roberto Firmino equalised for the Reds in the 72nd minute after Joe Ledley put Palace ahead, and in the 94th minute, Christian Benteke slotted home from the spot after being awarded a controversial penalty.

Liverpool sealed the 2-1 victory with 10 men after James Milner was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 62nd minute.

Henderson has credited Klopp with the team's ability not to give up.

"Since he's [come in], I think that's been one of the big things for us, to keep going right until the end no matter what the circumstances are," Henderson told the club's official website.

"I felt as though we did that, even when we went 1-0 down and [down to] 10 men, we kept going and we got better as the game went on with the ball. We were moving it quicker, created chances and, for me, we deserved to win."

Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League table, six points from fourth with a game in hand.
