Stoke City defender Robert Huth suggests that Luis Suarez should be given a three-match ban for crying on the pitch after Liverpool drew with Crystal Palace.

Stoke City defender Robert Huth has suggested that Liverpool striker Luis Suarez should be handed a three-match ban for crying after dropping points against Crystal Palace.

The Reds threw away a three-goal lead and possibly their first Premier League title in 24 years by getting pegged back to a 3-3 draw at Selhurst Park on Monday.

After the final whistle, Suarez covered his face with his shirt as he was comforted by captain Steven Gerrard and led away from the pitch while in a tearful state by Kolo Toure.

While Huth refrained from mentioning the Uruguayan international by name, the defender claimed that crying deserves a suspension.


Liverpool need Manchester City to lose one of their matches against Aston Villa or West Ham United in order to stay in contention for the title.
