The Premier League has today revealed the fixture list for the 2021-22 campaign, which for Liverpool begins away to newly-promoted Norwich City.
The contest will be the third time in a row that Liverpool have begun their campaign against a promoted side, including a 4-1 triumph over Norwich in 2019-20.
Liverpool also face Chelsea at Anfield in just their third game of the campaign, before taking on champions Manchester City at the beginning of October.
The Reds will also renew hostilities with Manchester United in October, before playing the reverse fixture at Anfield in March.
The Merseyside derbies are scheduled for November and April, while Liverpool will conclude their campaign at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the second time in the past four seasons.
