Brendan Rodgers describes Liverpool's 5-0 win over Swansea City in the Premier League as a "brilliant" display.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has described his side's 5-0 win over Swansea City in the Premier League as a "brilliant performance".

The Reds swept aside Rodgers's former club at Anfield on Sunday to move up to seventh place in the table.

"It was brilliant performance and the players' attitude was tremendous and it was important to get a clean sheet today," Rodgers told BBC Sport.

Liverpool return to Europa League action on Thursday looking to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Zenit St. Petersburg on home turf.
