Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has labelled striker Luis Suarez "world class" after the Uruguayan scored three goals in his side's 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic today.
Suarez became the league's top scorer with the hat-trick, overtaking Manchester United's Robin van Persie in the scoring charts.
"We were brilliant today, it was a wonderful performance. The work-rate, intensity and goals were first class," said Rodgers.
"[Suarez is] a pleasure to work with. His hunger, humility, work-rate & quality of finishing. It all makes him world class."
The result lifts Liverpool up to seventh in the Premier League table, three points behind city rivals Everton.
