Liverpool star Raheem Sterling was heckled by a fan in the crowd during Friday's official launch of the club's new kit for next season.
Sterling was joined by teammates Daniel Sturridge, Martin Skrtel and Simon Mignolet at an event at Anfield to show off the strip manufactured by Boston-based sportswear brand New Balance.
According to The Mirror, despite receiving cheers from the 500-strong crowd when his name was announced in the stadium, one fan shouted, "make sure we see you it in next year," when the England international was asked on stage to give his opinions about the new design.
Sterling has dominated the headlines recently after it emerged that the 20-year-old had rejected a £100,000-a-week contract, and later admitted that he was 'flattered' by reports linking him to Arsenal.
The comments were made during Sterling's interview with BBC Sport, which was arranged without Liverpool's knowledge.
While the youngster's future remains uncertain, the Merseyside club have included Sterling in their promotional photos of the new kit for next season.
