Liverpool midfielder Emre Can says that he is open to signing a new contract at Anfield, despite interest from Juventus.

Emre Can has suggested that he is open to signing a new contract at Liverpool, despite reports that he has already decided to leave.

The midfielder was rumoured to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus ahead of a summer move.

Can's contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season, meaning that if he does not pen fresh terms with the Merseyside outfit then he will be free to leave for nothing in six months' time.

"I haven't signed anything [with Juventus] or anyone. I am talking with everyone," The Telegraph quotes the Germany international as saying.

"Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club. What can I say? My agent does the rest. I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team."

Can has started 16 Premier League games for Jurgen Klopp so far in the campaign.
