Report: Liverpool to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings

Liverpool are hoping to sign Burnley's Danny Ings in a deal that will allow the 22-year-old to remain at Turf Moor until the end of the season, according to reports.

Liverpool are hoping to secure a deal for Burnley striker Danny Ings, but will allow him to remain at Turf Moor until the end of the season, according to reports.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen on the 22-year-old, who has scored seven goals for the Clarets so far this season.

According to The Telegraph, the arrangement would enable Ings to remain in Lancashire on loan for the next six months, before moving to Anfield in the summer.

Ings moved to Burnley from Bournemouth in 2011 and was a major part of the club's promotion push last season.
