Liverpool have rejected an enquiry from Paris Saint-Germain over attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to a report.
The Brazil international has previously stated that he is happy at Anfield and is only expected to consider departing this summer if an offer from Barcelona is tabled.
Coutinho has made no secret of his desire to potentially play for the Catalan giants, recently conceding that talk of a switch to Camp Nou is "complicated".
It is suggested by The Mirror that PSG are also keen to bring the 24-year-old on board, as they look to add further star quality to their ranks in an attempt to wrest back the Ligue 1 crown from AS Monaco.
Liverpool have told PSG that they will not consider doing any business unless a bid of £87m is tabled, however, with Coutinho remaining a key part of Jurgen Klopp's plans for the new campaign.
The former Inter Milan ace only put pen to paper on a new five-year deal in January, thought to be worth around £150,000 a week
